Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This policy explains what personal information I collect through antoniohoudini.com and when you book me, what I do with it, and the choices you have. I'm Antonio Houdini, a musician based in Vancouver, British Columbia, also operating as Houdini Entertainment Collective. In this policy "I", "me" and "my" mean me, and "you" means anyone who visits the site or contacts me about a booking.

I handle personal information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What I collect

When you fill in the booking form, I receive your name, email address and, if you add them, your phone number, event date, event type and any details you write in the message box.

When you email, call, text or message me on Instagram or another platform, I receive whatever you choose to send, along with your contact details on that platform.

When we work together on an event, I may also keep the venue address, timings, the names and phone numbers of on-site contacts, song requests, and the payment and invoicing details needed to bill you. I don't store credit card numbers on this website.

When you visit the site, my web host may automatically record standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used to keep the site running and secure.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't set cookies and doesn't use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking tools. If that changes, I'll update this policy first.

The site's fonts load from Google Fonts. When your browser downloads them, Google receives your IP address and browser information. You can read how Google handles this in the Google privacy policy.

How I use your information

I won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask me to.

Who I share it with

I don't sell, rent or trade personal information. I only share it when it's needed to do the job:

Photos and video at events

I sometimes record short clips or take photos of my own performance to use on this site and on social media. If you'd prefer your event, or yourself, not to appear, tell me before the event or email me afterwards and I'll leave it out or take it down.

How long I keep it

I keep inquiries that don't turn into a booking for up to 12 months, in case you get back in touch, and then delete them. Booking, invoice and payment records are kept for as long as Canadian tax law requires, which is generally six years.

Keeping it safe

I use password-protected accounts and reputable providers, and I only keep what I need. No method of sending or storing information online is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive information, like a full credit card number, through the booking form or by email.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or withdraw your consent and ask me to delete it, unless I have to keep it for legal or tax reasons. Email contact@antoniohoudini.com and I'll respond within 30 days.

If you're not happy with how I've handled your request, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

Other websites

This site links to Instagram, YouTube and Google Maps. Those services have their own privacy policies, and this policy doesn't cover what happens on their sites.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information. Bookings should be made by an adult.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I'll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
